Fully finished and ready to wear Recon V2 helmet titled "Relic 3", a spiritual sibling to the Relic and Relic 2 helmets I've made previously. This was the second cast out of a brand new mold completed in January 2025, and I would work on bringing this helmet to life on and off over the next 9 months. The helmet is made from Smooth On’s Smooth-Cast 65D and ONYX resins cold cast with aluminum and nickel silver powders. It measures 22cm (8.75") from ear to ear and 24.5cm (9.75") from front to back at the base. It features a lined and padded interior, orange ear LED lights (powered by a 9V battery - included), gold-tinted reflective visor, and a custom removable MHAS Range Finder. "Relic 3" Recon Mandalorian Helmet
The Mynock's Den Modular Helmet Accessory System (MHAS) allows the wearer to effortlessly change the look of their Mynock’s Den MHAS-compatible helmet by attaching and detaching mechanical accessories like range finders and macrobinoculars or antennae without having to perform destructive modifications to the helmet itself. The system uses specially designed magnetic adapters that snap into corresponding receptacles built into the helmet for instant customization.
